Stolen Horse - today's update on Domino

Rideborders is encouraging every to try to help Amanda Mair track down her stolen horse. Amanda has contacted us to day to let us know that things have moved on apace since yesterday. The horse is no longer in the Borders but is now known to have passed through a dealer in the Durham area (Martin Surtees) to a further dealer in that area, who is not known. Can anyone help us contact this dealer as a matter of urgency? Domino's owner Amanda Mair, is trying all she can to recover her horse and we encourage everyone to search their UK equestrian contact lists to try to help her track him down before it is too late and he is exported for meat. It may already be too late and must surely serve as a warning to all who treasure their horses and ponies.

Domino -(see pics) is 15.3hh blue and white coloured Irish cob gelding 10 years old. Has half white and half grey mane and grey forlock with white tail. Very easy to handle but can be very sensitive to ride. He had a bad start in life experiencing serious trauma of some sort before being bought by Amanda. Consequently he has bald patches of skin on both rumps and some bald patches down shoulder and parts of legs. Was taken from Lossiemouth along with 3 other horses, known as 2 Section Ds and a chestnut. Any useful information that leads directly to finding this horse will be much appreciated and will be significantly rewarded.

Contact 07816 612 458 or 01261 851 212 or to Grampian Police at Banff, they are dealing with this case as well.
