The South Lammermuir Riding Club
Surrounded by enviable riding country in the foothills of the Lammermuirs the South Lammermuir Riding Club is based in the Scottish Borders, mainly around the Duns area. We have about 170 members, with varying equestrian interests. These range from happy hackers to eventers with plenty in between.
During the summer months we lay on a selection of schooling sessions including flatwork and cross country. We also run regular competitions for our members with area events, dressage, and the ever popular 'Members' Show' at the beginning of September.
We have been very successful at Riding Club team competitions this year: the Hunter Trial team were 8th at the National RC Championship. 2 novice show jumping teams were 3rd and 4th at Area Level and the horse trials novice team won and have qualified for the championships.
The most important thing to us however is that members enjoy their horses and gain encouragement from the club. We hope to have something to offer everyone and area always pleased to hear from members - old and new.
