The Border Union Show is held in rolling parkland on the outskirts of Kelso in the Scottish Borders. Adjacent to the world famous Junction Pool of the rivers Tweed and Teviot with magnificent views of Kelso Abbey and the unique five arch bridge, this unrivalled location provides the perfect setting.
The show has a range of classes for horses and ponies including Mountain and Moorland Ridden and In-Hand, First Ridden and Lead Rein, Riding Ponies, Hunter Pony Breeding, Coloured Horses, Working Hunter Ponies, Show jumping, Burghley Young Event Horse, Burghley Event Pony, Hunters, Riding Horses, Side Saddle and Heavy Horses. There are also qualifiers for various NPS awards and The Horse of the Year Show.
There are innumerable other classes too of course, with cattle, sheep, dairy goats and poultry as well as other exciting competitions and events plus entertainment for all the family.
