KT and Truffles - a winning combination |

12 year old Katherine Tullie from West Blanerne, Chirnside, Berwickshire and her veteran 21 year old dressage pony Truffles, have just been selected for the Scottish C Squad Under 21 Dressage Team. Eventing, with dressage as a key component, has always been Katherine's aim and showing the true grit of a potential star, already she has her sights firmly set on the Olympics.
According to her trainer, national coach Jane Rutherford, based at Ayton, Katherine certainly has star quality. Having ridden since she was two, she not only has an excellent natural riding position but the right sort of empathy with the horse and the attitude to succeed.
Qualifying for the Scottish dressage team, will shortly take Katherine and Truffles to Bedfordshire to compete with other national C squad riders. Good luck Katherine!
