Racing in The Scottish Borders - a hot tip!

Kelso Racecourse is proud to call itself 'Britain's friendliest Racecourse' - you may want to challenge that - until you go there and see for yourself just how special Kelso is. You'll be hooked.

Kelso, which is frequently referred to as 'little Cheltenham' is renowned for its unique atmosphere and charm. Famously a blazing log fire still welcomes chilly race-goers into the Members Bar but along with the much-loved tradition, Kelso is also trailblazing when it comes to imaginative and exciting initiatives that are tempting more and more people to try 'a day at the races' for the first time.

It's the superb, high quality national hunt racing of course that plays the key role in attracting the crowds. Come to Kelso and see for yourself.
