Andrew Isles (BHS - A.I.) runs Mill Farm Stables near Chirnside, Duns in Berwickshire and has been teaching for 20 years.
Andrew's teaching career began when he trained in Dunblane with 'Mrs. MacFarlane,' well known in Perthshire horsy circles and beyond.
Since then he has run two yards in the Scottish Borders and currently owns and manages Mill Farm Stables.. He loves cross country riding and - when he can find the time, he jumps at the chance to compete in local events.
Using his skills as a BHS AI, he is particularly good with young children and has been responsible for enthusing and inspiring many young people to develop their riding careers. He also thoroughly enjoys bringing on young horses and has a penchant for sturdy cobs who seem to thrive particularly well under his tutelage.
